Over the years there were so many houses and so little time. All of these interior shots were part of homes I’ve lived in at one point or another in my life. Setting them up was always fun, the redoing and restaging was like playing for me. Slowly the things in your home become a piece of your identity and when those things or times in your life are no longer needed it’s time to hold an auction, a garage sale or an estate sale and forge ahead. For some, it’s to another country or another state and for others it’s just time to simplify and move on. Perhaps the birth of a baby, a change in a relationship, a new career or the death of a loved one…transition is simply a part of living this wonderful life. I hope you whatever comes your way, you can embrace it. This year I am thankful for all of the homes I have had the pleasure to truly live in but most of all for the people and experiences with whom they’ve been shared.
